British Ambassador Martin Reynolds held a series of meetings with Libyan National Army leadership, including Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, his son and deputy commander Saddam Haftar, and later Khaled Haftar.
It marked the first direct engagement of its kind by the newly appointed ambassador and a notable departure from Londonโs long-standing posture.
